This page highlights my contributions to two separate re-animated SpongeBob movie collaborations, with the most recent project featured first. I joined these projects to enhance my skills in 3D and gain experience with every stage of the production process. By handling the work independently, I have gained a better understanding of all aspects of the animation pipeline. The first section below showcases my latest contribution.
Software I used:
Maya | ZBrush | Substance Painter | Mari | Arnold | Photoshop | Premiere Pro
Sponge Out of Water: Resurfaced
Following my involvement in reanimating The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, I contributed to Sponge Out of Water: Resurfaced in 2024, a fan collaboration for the second SpongeBob film. With some of the same admins from the first project, it was a great experience to work alongside talented artists and animators once more.
While there is no planned release date yet, a link to the film will be available on this page once it’s uploaded.

Scene 65
My goal for this scene was to recreate the look of the original movie, but with a 3D style.
For this project, I created a detailed face rig for Plankton. With the help of blend shapes and key drivers, I was able to develop a rig that made animating his facial expressions and dialogue smooth and easy.
Contributing to this project was a lot of fun, and it was rewarding to see how much my skills have progressed since the previous collaboration a few years ago.
I'm very pleased with the final results.

The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie Rehydrated

Poster for The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie Rehydrated
In 2021, I had the unique opportunity to work on a fan collaborative project where more than 300 artists recreated scenes from The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie in their own unique artistic styles. Each team member was given the responsibility to re-animate a few seconds from the original film and contribute to the overall project. Then, all the shots were put together and redubbed to create the final fan film. It was a fun experience for me, and it helped me get more acquainted with using ZBrush.
For the The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie Rehydrated I contributed two reanimated segments for the film. Additionally, I lent my voice to some minor background characters and participated as a "Singing Pirate" in the song that starts off the movie. The project required excellent teamwork, and I enjoyed working with such a large group of creative individuals to bring this project to YouTube in honor of Stephen Hillenburg, the original creator of the SpongeBob series.
Being a part of this collab was a valuable experience for me as it allowed me to showcase my skills while working alongside a talented team of animators, artists, and voice actors. The project gained significant attention online and was well-received by the SpongeBob SquarePants community, with articles and features in various media outlets. It was a great opportunity to be a part of such a successful collaborative project.
Scene 132
For my contribution to the project, I worked on a scene where Plankton was stealing Neptune's crown from the castle. I used ZBrush to model most assets and used the ZRemesher tool to connect all the parts of the castle to achieve a good topology flow. Additionally, I did the lighting and animation. It was great to see my scene in the full film and even better to see the collaboration do well on YouTube.

Scene 220
I had the opportunity to work with TabaMations on her scene. I helped bring her 2D drawings to life in a 3D space by giving the drawings depth, doing lighting and animating the characters based on reference footage we recorded together. It was a fun and rewarding experience to work with TabaMations and to contribute my skills to her scene.
And yes, the style this scene is in is based on the cutscenes from the video game "Battleblock Theater"
